Business Owner and Martial Arts Champion
Sean is currently President Forensic Vocational Consultant Inc, a business he has recently developed based on Saint John's, Newfoundland. Previously, he served as President of Pathways Consulting Inc., a private Vocational/Rehabilitation Company in Atlantic Canada that provides vocational, psychological, rehabilitation and return to work services, programs on behalf of insurance company's and employers throughout their ten locations. Prior to this, Sean was the Executive Director of the second largest Provincial Division of the Canadian Paraplegic Association where Sean and his management team managed over 100 staff who provided exceptional services to over 10,000 individuals with a disabilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Sean has sat on numerous Provincial and National Boards, holding executive positions including that of President. He has also presented at local, national and international conferences on the vocational/rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. In addition to his government appointed board positions, Sean was invited by the Federal Government to attend a Trade Mission and was awarded the Commemorative Medal by the Governor General for his leadership and achievements in creating a better society for persons with disabilities in Canada.
For the past two years, Sean has been named by Atlantic Business Magazine, as one of Atlantic Canada' Top 50 CEOs. Sean credits his achievements to being fortunate enough to work alongside exceptional people; to listening to his team and to recognizing that every member of the team has a critical role to play in the team's collective success.
Sean states that he is and has been blessed to work with many committed professionals, including his business partner and partner in life, Lynn FitzGerald. Sean and Lynn have four children, Maggie, Alex, Victoria and Spencer. Sean advises his greatest role is being a father and last year, Sean and three of his children (Alex, Victoria and Spencer) all became Provincial Champions in Newfoundland and Labrador in the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do.
Christina Semaniuk, RPR

Christina is currently the Director, Human Resources for Cambrian Credit Union in Winnipeg Manitoba. Her professional experience is a combination of sales, marketing, training and human resources within the retail and financial services sectors. Having spent 3 years in retail management, she joined Carpathia Credit Union as its first Marketing Manger in 1990. Within six years, her role expanded to include sales & service training and human resource management. In 2000, she joined Cambrian Credit Union, a leader in the Winnipeg marketplace and one of the top 20 credit unions in Canada. Over the past 13 years in the credit union system, she has worked on several international co-operative projects, which gave her an opportunity to provide technical assistance in the areas of marketing and human resources, within the credit union systems of Ukraine and the Bahamas.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, in Administrative Studies, from the University of Winnipeg, and is a Fellow Graduate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada. She is a Registered Professional Recruiter through the Institute of Professional Management and has completed her Human Resources Management Certificate Program through the University of Manitoba. Christina is also a Certified Business Development Systems Trainer.
In her current role, she provides leadership in the development and implementation of human resource strategies that contribute to the achievement of the Credit Unions goals by developing, implementing and coordinating proactive recruitment and retention initiatives. The HR department consists of Christina, a Human Resources Co-ordinator, a Human Resources Administrator, and a Training Officer, as well as two support staff. They provide service to 220 employees in the areas of recruitment, performance management, training & development, compensation, as well as salary & benefit administration.
Cambrian Credit Union has a branch network of 11 retail locations, plus a virtual division. It offers a complete range of financial services to over 45,000 members, and they feel their consistently strong financial performance, particularly in the highly competitive financial services landscape, is due to their commitment to building strong banking relationships with every member.
Cambrian Credit Union is a growing organization with many future opportunities, and Christina looks forward to continued professional development to better meet the changing needs and scope of her position.
Christina's passion is traveling and experiencing various cultures. She has been fortunate to integrate this passion into her profession, having worked in Ukraine as well as spending time in the Bahamas. Her most memorable personal trips include Africa, Indonesia, and Central America. Christina's goal is to be able to take early retirement to work on various international co-operative projects.
