Mission:

IPM Associations appreciate their National Board of Directors and Regional Executive members for their commitment in supporting the Associations' growth and development and contributing to the success of the regional chapters for over 35 years.

IPM's mission is to offer professional development and networking opportunities through various accreditation programs and conferences as well as enhance the exposure of its members and professional designations within the business community.

Benefits of Volunteering with IPM Associations:

	Organizational management, leadership and teamwork experience
	Recognition at the Regional and National levels
	Increased visibility through regional leadership
	Networking and broadening professional scope with members at the Chapter and National levels
	Professional growth and development through IPM's latest offerings
	Certification points and education credits to be applied toward other designations (e.g. CPHR, CHRP)

General Expectations and Commitments

Prerequisite: You must be a member (Associate or Full Member) of any of IPM's four professional associations prior to volunteering. For information on membership, click here
	Register for and attend Regional One Day Conferences in your area (biennial, every 2 years)
	Time commitment: 2 hours per month (average)
	Assist in promoting the events: broadcast events to your colleagues and networks
	Research ideas for topics and presenters for IPM Conferences
	Become an ambassador for IPM Associations: recruit new members; bring colleagues to conferences; increase public awareness of IPM's programs, associations, member services and events.
	Active participation in regional executive duties: communicate by email, conference calls, virtual and in person meetings; contribute ideas; assist in administration tasks and at conferences and evaluate effectiveness.
	Timely annual renewal of IPM Association Membership
